Everyone that knows me well enough, knows that I love all things artsy and creative. Which is why I absolutely had to go and see what Zeits MOCAA was all about!
Zeits MOCAA is a contemporary art museum located at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa. It is the largest museum of contemporary African art in the world with 100 galleries spread over nine floors a sculpture garden, restaurant and shop as well as a hotel.
From the beautiful architecture of an old silo building which they transformed- some parts of the old building still remain, to the contemporary art on exhibition, I was blown away. It was definitely thought provoking as the art gives you an idea of issues in society that trigger African artists. Nonetheless, it was a great experience shared with friends.

“The principle of art is to pause, not bypass. The principle of true art is not to portray, but to evoke”
